This letter was published in Malaysiakini today, referring to the recent death of an NS trainee. The author of the letter condemns politicians who exploit the death for their own political gains. He goes on to argue that deaths are inevitable no matter where you are, and it is not practical to station medical doctors at every nook and cranny of the country.
I still have not gathered my thoughts over this response. I feel a certain anger towards this kind of "dissing" and yet there is some sense of truth in his writings. I need some time to think it over before formulating a proper analysis.
